Buyi Zhang currently serves as the Associate Director of Quantitative Analysis at AM Best, focusing on capital modeling since February 2022. Prior to this role, Buyi Zhang held various positions at Chubb, including AVP, Senior Analytical Specialist, where data-driven solutions were developed to enhance sales effectiveness and create a business intelligence tool for market expansion. Additional experience at Chubb encompasses positions as AVP of Predictive Modeling and Assistant Actuary, contributing to analytical research. Earlier, Buyi Zhang worked as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Aon, engaging in communication with risk retention groups and forecasting losses through simulations. Buyi Zhang holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management from St. John's University and a PhD in Biochemistry from CUNY.
