Izdihar D. is currently a Professor of Psychology and Academic Advisor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Marist College, specializing in courses related to childhood disabilities and giftedness. Additionally, Izdihar serves as an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with Dutchess BOCES, providing specialized educational support across various settings for students with diverse needs. Previous roles include Content Editor and Associate Writer for A Little Beacon Blog, Psychology and Intro Neuroscience Instructor at Varsity Tutor, Graduate Student Researcher in the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences at Columbia University, and several teaching and research positions focusing on deaf education and pediatric neurocognition. Izdihar holds a Master's degree in Health Studies & Applied Educational Psychology from Columbia University, along with multiple degrees in Psychology from Marist College.
