Andrew Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew started their career as a Trainee Accountant at PKF South Africa in 1997 and worked there for four years. Following that, they joined the Audit Commission as a Contract Auditor for one year. In 2003, they joined Capespan as a Financial Accountant for a year. From 2004 to 2012, Andrew worked as a Financial Manager at FR!KA - Afrika's Premier Hair Company. In 2012, they became the Financial Director at A-Gas South Africa, a position they held until 2015. During this time, they also spent two years in Bristol, UK, leading the design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA across the global A-Gas Group. After that, Andrew became the Group Business Intelligence Manager at A-Gas, a role they held for five years. Andrew is currently the Group Operations Data & Analytics Manager at A-Gas, where they oversee data and analytics functions.

Andrew Wright completed their Honours BCompt degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, studying from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended the Cinema and Television School at Tshwane University of Technology from 1995 to 1996, focusing on film/cinema/video studies. In 2013 and 2014, Andrew pursued SAICA Board Exams at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
