Christen Tess Bowman is a PhD student in Counseling Education and Supervision with extensive experience in the mental health field. Currently serving as the Director of Behavioral Health Child Services at A Caring Alternative, LLC and as the Principal Owner of Find A Way Counseling and Supervision, PLLC, Bowman specializes in trauma-informed care, crisis management, and risk assessment. Previous roles include BH Coordinator at COX Family Medicine, Licensed Mental Health Counselor at A Caring Alternative, and ACTT clinician with experience as an outpatient and school-based therapist. Bowman's background also includes significant experience in sales and marketing across various industries, holding positions such as Key Accounts Manager at Southeastern Paper Group and Regional Sales Manager at Carapace. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Counselor Education from Capella University, a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Lenoir-Rhyne University, among others.
