Jennifer Delano-Gemzik has been working in the education field since 2009. Jennifer began their career as an Instructional Coach and Professional Development Facilitator for Nash Rocky Mount Schools. In 2016, they moved to Wilson County Schools - NC where they served as an Instructional Coach and School Improvement Grant Coach. In 2021, they became a Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Professional Learning Facilitator for Cambium Learning Group and an Innovative Partnership Grant Coach for Stocks Elementary School. Currently, they are an Education Consultant for 95 Percent Group LLC.

Jennifer Delano-Gemzik obtained a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language from Appalachian State University between 1997 and 2001. Jennifer then earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from North Carolina State University between 2011 and 2013. Finally, they received a Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the College of Education at East Carolina University. Additionally, they hold a certification in K-12 Teaching English as a Second Language from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
