Matt Austin currently serves as VP/General Manager at 90.9 KCBI-FM, a role held since November 2012, where leadership focuses on impactful community engagement through encouraging music in the DFW Metroplex. Previously, Matt held the position of Station Manager for WAY-FM Media Group, overseeing multiple stations in Nashville, Clarksville, and Bowling Green, KY, from 1997 to 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Director at WVLK in Lexington, KY, where management responsibilities spanned airstaff and marketing for a prominent country station, as well as leading programming and marketing efforts at WFMI, the top Top-40 station in Central Kentucky. Matt's career in radio began as Assistant Program Director at WSTO, a highly rated station in the Owensboro, KY/Evansville area. Educational credentials include attendance at Eastern Kentucky University from 1977 to 1980.
