Matt Martin is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and management roles across multiple leading companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engineering at 8x8 since February 2022, Matt previously held similar senior management positions at Fuze from January 2016 to February 2022, and had a significant tenure at Avaya from 2011 to 2015, where contributions were made to the multimedia messaging server backend of the Avaya Enterprise Messaging product. Earlier roles at Nortel Networks spanned from 2000 to 2010, involving responsibilities from customer deployment to technical support, and included leadership positions that showcased strong project management skills. Matt began a career in data modeling at NorWest Mine Services from 1997 to 2000, laying a robust foundation in software and database development. Matt holds a B.Sc. in Engineering (Honours) from Queen's University.
