Joel Hemmert currently serves as Controller and previously held the position of Finance Manager at 8VC since December 2020. Prior experience includes various roles at PwC from July 2014 to November 2020, culminating in the position of Manager, with earlier roles as Assurance Senior Associate and Assurance Associate focused on the financial services industry. In addition, Joel held an Assurance Intern position at PwC in early 2013 and interned at General Motors in the summer of 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
