Mahmoud Kaiyal is a prominent entrepreneur and healthcare professional with extensive experience in the tech and health sectors. As Co-Founder of Tawasul Initiative since January 2021, Mahmoud aims to empower the Palestinian tech ecosystem by facilitating GCC investments in local startups. Simultaneously, as a member of 8400 The Health Network since October 2019, Mahmoud collaborates with global HealthTech leaders to address ecosystem gaps. Mahmoud also co-founded and serves as CEO of Wikaya, focusing on chronic disease management, and recently led the NorthMed Innovation Center as Chief Executive Officer until February 2024. Previous roles include serving as a representative for the Israel Innovation Authority and founding WebTeb, a health education platform for Arabic speakers. With a medical degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mahmoud’s career began as a family physician prior to transitioning into health tech ventures.
