Shankar Nataraj is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering, currently serving as a Process Engineer Subject Matter Expert at 8 Rivers since November 2022, focusing on blue hydrogen technology implementation. Nataraj has extensive experience as a Senior Process Engineer, leading novel technology implementations for blue hydrogen, and has been an Engineering Consultant at Energy Internet Corporation since August 2018, specializing in various energy storage systems and thermodynamic analysis. As an Independent Consultant for Gas Separations & HYCO Manufacture, Nataraj conducts process improvement studies and has contributed to significant reports on carbon capture and hydrogen separation technologies. Prior experience at Air Products & Chemicals encompassed roles from Engineering/Research Associate to Senior Principal Process Engineer, where Nataraj was involved in market development, process design, performance testing, and technology evaluation in hydrogen and syngas production. Shankar Nataraj holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
