Matthew Peters has held various roles in the past decade. From 2010 to 2019, they were an Administration Assistant at Peters Tractor and Equipment Company. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Marketing Specialist & Salesperson at University Trails, where they marketed to students for residency in the complex through in-person events and online media, assisted with planning concerts and other events, and performed apartment showings to potential new clients. In 2021, they became the Owner at Outlands Event Productions, a Coffee Roaster at Polite Coffee Company, and a Ticketing Coordination Intern at Circuit of The Americas, where they liaised between creative, marketing, sponsorship, ticketing, event production, and sales teams, conducted surveys and research for events, and worked with the sponsorship and marketing departments to increase sponsorship and licensing deals. In 2022, they became a Sales Development Representative at 7 Mindsets, where they uncovered potential opportunities by conversing and setting meetings with prospective buyers, maintained accurate records in CRM of outcomes of calls, conversations and follow-up steps, and worked closely with senior team members and leaders to discover new areas of opportunity.

Matthew Peters attended Sam Houston State University from 2017 to 2018, where they studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Matthew then attended Texas A&M University from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.
