Kristen Cook is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both legal counsel and strategic leadership roles, currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer at 7-Eleven since June 2010. Previously held positions at 7-Eleven include Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, where responsibilities included overseeing the legal department and implementing cost-saving initiatives, as well as Associate General Counsel managing real estate legal operations. Prior to joining 7-Eleven, Kristen worked as a Senior Associate at Higier Allen & Lautin, focusing on real estate transactions and commercial matters, and practiced as an Associate at Cowles & Thompson, P.C. with a focus on commercial litigation. Legal training began as a law clerk for judges in both state and federal courts and includes an academic background featuring a Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Spanish from Baylor University. Additionally, Kristen completed an Applied MBA Program for Attorneys at SMU Cox School of Business.
