Laura Figi is a seasoned journalist with a strong background in local media. Currently serving as Senior City Editor at 6AM City for ATXtoday since August 2022, Laura previously worked as a Reporter for Austonia from August 2020 to August 2022. Earlier experience includes the role of Life and Arts Editor at The University Star, where Laura managed a team of reporters to ensure timely and high-quality content. Laura also has retail experience as a Lead Cashier at Ulta Beauty from 2017 to March 2019, where Laura excelled in team management and sales performance. Laura holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and French Language and Literature from Texas State University, completed in 2020, and graduated from Vandegrift High School in 2016.
