Jiangyun Jin has held various roles in the investment sector, starting as an Intern at Van Eck Global in 2010. Later, they worked at 中金公司 as an Associate before moving to Hillhouse Capital as an Associate. Subsequently, Jiangyun joined IDG Capital as an Executive Director and currently serves as a Managing Director at 5Y Capital since 2021.

Jiangyun Jin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Statistics from Peking University in the years 2007 to 2011.
