Rob Winchell has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Rob currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Sohonet, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Engineering at 5th Kind, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Before that, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at WWE from 2021 to 2022.

In 2020, Rob worked at Entertainment Partners as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, where they led the transition of engineering teams to a mixed on-shore/off-shore model and acted as the team/development lead for the Asset Hub product.

From 2015 to 2020, Rob held multiple roles at SyncOnSet Technologies, including Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Rob was responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing technological advancements.

Prior to SyncOnSet Technologies, Rob worked at Brightcove as a Senior Engineering Manager and Architect/Product Owner from 2012 to 2015. Rob also gained experience at Adobe as an Engineering Manager and Computer Scientist from 2005 to 2012.

Rob's early career includes roles at Vibren Technologies as a Principal Engineer from 2003 to 2005, at Rachis Corporation as a Principal Engineer from 2000 to 2003, and at Lernout & Hauspie as a Software Engineer in 1998.
