Jonas Schofer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jonas is currently the Head of Supply Chain - Strategy & Growth at 5B since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Supply Chain Management and Procurement at Gelion from October 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Gelion, Jonas Schofer took a sabbatical at Drew & Schofer Real Estate, where they worked as a Director & Registered Real Estate Agent from April 2021 to September 2022.
From 2018 to 2021, they worked at FTI Consulting as a Managing Director, focusing on Business Transformation, Supply Chain, and advisory roles to the CEO and CFO. Jonas spent a significant portion of their career at PwC from 2015 to 2018, working as a Consulting Director, specializing in Working Capital Management, Supply Chain, and Cost Reduction.
Prior to joining PwC and FTI Consulting, Jonas Schofer worked at The Hackett Group - REL Consultancy from 2012 to 2015 in the role of Consulting Director, handling various aspects of supply chain, inventory optimization, and working capital management. Jonas also served as a Working Capital Project Manager at The Hackett Group from 2010 to 2012.
Jonas Schofer began their career as a Senior Project Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant at ZLU Consulting und Management GmbH & Co. KG from 2004 to 2009, where they focused on supply chain optimization, logistics, demand management, and forecasting. Jonas played a crucial role in decreasing manufacturing lead time for Airbus Defence.
During their early career, Jonas Schofer gained valuable experience as a Student Intern at BMW AG - Sparte Motorrad in 2001 and at Geyer Umformtechnik GmbH, Berlin in 1999.
Jonas Schofer began their education at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution, completing a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from 2002 to 2004. In 2002, they also enrolled at the University of Newcastle, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2006.
