Mr. Cheng joined 57 Stars in 2009, and is involved in identifying and monitoring investments in Asia, in addition to leading the firmā€™s subsidiary in Singapore.

Prior to joining 57 Stars, Mr. Cheng was an Investment Manager with Allianz Private Equity Partners (APEP), a 100% indirect subsidiary of Allianz SE and a leading private equity fundā€ofā€ funds manager. In that role, he was one of the team members who started APEPā€™s Asia office in Singapore and was responsible for APEPā€™s private equity fund investments in Asia. Prior to APEP, he worked for Neptune Orient Lines, a Singaporeā€headquartered global transportation and logistics company, first as a feeder operations executive in charge of South Asia network operations and later as a strategic planning manager overseeing Corporate Strategic Planning and M&A activities.
