Aliyu Musa Haruna has a diverse work experience in the healthcare sector. Aliyu is currently working as a Field Data Specialist at 54gene since October 2021. Previously, they served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Project Manager at General Hospital Gamawa, Bauchi State from March 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Nutrition Assistant at General Hospital Gamawa from March 2017 to October 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as a Corp Member at Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe from March 2020 to March 2021.

Aliyu Musa Haruna completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Health at Bauchi State University Gadau from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, they enrolled at Ahmadu Bello University to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Epidemiology, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, Aliyu has obtained several certifications, including a Monitoring and Evaluation Dpro certification from the Humanitarian Leadership Academy in June 2021, a Certified Project Manager (CPM) certification from the Project & Safety Management Professional institute in January 2021, and a Certified Environmental, Safety & Health Trainer (CET) certification, also from the Project & Safety Management Professional institute, in November 2020.
