Frances Scott is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, education, and advocacy. As the Founder and Director of 50:50 Parliament since 2013, Frances has championed gender balance in Parliament and initiated the #AskHerToStand campaign to encourage women's political participation. Prior to this, Frances served as a Birth and Babycare Educator for NCT Charity from 1997 to 2019, facilitating courses for new parents. Frances also founded the Birth Education Network, successfully booking over 6000 clients onto NCT antenatal courses and raising substantial funds for the organization. Earlier in the career, Frances held roles such as Senior Negotiator with Jones Lang LaSalle and Area Operations Analyst for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, as well as various management consultant positions, showcasing a strong foundation in hotel and tourism management. Educational qualifications include a degree in Hotel, Catering and Tourism Management from the University of Surrey and diplomas in marketing and antenatal teaching.
