Edward Wong has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Edward started their career at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst Programmer, where they developed and supported applications for the Fixed Income trading systems. Edward also played a key role in ensuring the success of a year-long Y2K compliance project.
Following their time at Deutsche Bank, Edward worked at Zootech Systems as a Senior Developer, where they were responsible for solution design, development, and ongoing support. Edward then moved on to Twynam Agricultural Group as a Software Developer, maintaining their intranet and ASP.net web applications.
In 2006, Edward joined i-Link Research Solutions as an IT Manager and Lead Developer, where they managed IT operations and led development projects. After that, they joined 4mation Technologies, starting as a Team Leader and eventually progressing to the roles of General Manager, Development Team Lead, Head of Contracting & Consulting, and Head of Delivery. In their most recent role as Head of Strategy, Edward worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them achieve greater business value through the use of technology.
Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget, while prioritizing client satisfaction and staff retention. Edward has also gained experience in sales consulting, strategy and UX design, agile methodologies, coaching and mentoring teams, and driving client growth.
Edward Wong pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 1992 and ending in 2022. Edward completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Automation from the University of Sydney, spanning from 1992 to 1996.
After obtaining their undergraduate degree, Edward Wong continued their education at AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from 2018 to 2022.
