Miguel Angel Villagra Diaz, MD, is a seasoned healthcare professional and founder of AdoctorsJourney LLC, specializing in strategic and career coaching for physicians to help them navigate career transitions, manage burnout, and achieve professional fulfillment. Currently serving as a healthcare consultant for Kandu Healthâ„¢ and an advisor for MarianaAI, Miguel is also involved with Doximity as a fellow, enhancing engagement with over two million clinicians. With experience as a telehospitalist at Access TeleCare and as a hospitalist and medical director at Alteon Health, Miguel contributes to patient care and healthcare management. Alongside these roles, Miguel has served on the editorial board of The Hospitalist Magazine and held the position of chief hospitalist at Sound Physicians. Miguel holds a Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua, along with various advanced qualifications in internal medicine and ethics, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology.
