Apoorv Omar is a Senior Data Scientist at 4CRisk.ai since June 2022, where responsibilities include training and deploying large language models. Previously, Apoorv worked as a Data Scientist at the same company, where task-specific machine learning models such as keyword extraction and summarization models were developed and deployed. From January 2020 to June 2022, Apoorv held the position of Data Scientist at SimplifyVMS, focusing on resume and job parsing, following an internship at the same company that involved work on a resume parser. Early in the career, Apoorv gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at TowardsBlockchain, contributing to a digital onboarding system and a face verification system, as well as implementing convolutional neural networks to differentiate speakers by voice. Apoorv holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad, completed in 2020.
