Peter Goddard has extensive work experience in various roles related to consulting, system analysis, training, and security. Peter started working as a Team Leader and Regimental Supervisory Forward Air Controller at The Household Cavalry Regiment in 2003 and later became a JTAC Instructor at the Joint Forward Air Control Training and Standards Unit. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the Senior Operations Manager and Lead Instructor at The Household Cavalry Regiment, where they managed a unit of UK JTACs and advised senior commanders on capabilities and integration. Peter then worked as a JTAC/FAC Instructor and Standards Evaluation Officer at the Joint Air Land Organisation (CoS Ops) from 2010 to 2015, responsible for training evaluation, analysis, and design. In 2015, they joined Saladin Security as a Personal Protection Operative, focusing on the personal security and close protection of clients in Afghanistan. Since 2017, they have been employed at 4C Strategies, initially as a System Analyst and currently as a Consultant. Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated expertise in training, evaluation, security, and consulting roles.
Peter Goddard attended Aboyne Academy from 1981 to 1986 where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Peter then pursued a diploma in Judo at the University of Bath from 1999 to 2001. In 2007, Peter earned a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management from Plymouth University and Somerset colleges. In 2012, they attended Cranfield University for LASER Safety/Training Officer training, with a focus on LASER Safety. Additionally, in 2018 to 2019, Peter obtained a Diploma in Business Continuity Management from Buckinghamshire New University. Peter also has additional certifications in Qlik Sense Essential Training from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2022, and Learning IP Addressing, also from LinkedIn, obtained in May 2022.
