Ben White

Principal Consultant -Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk and Crisis Management at 4C Strategies

Ben White has over 15 years of experience in operational resilience, crisis management, and business continuity. Ben is currently the Principal Consultant at 4C Strategies, where they work with various clients to deliver operational resilience and business continuity programs. Prior to this role, Ben worked as a Senior Consultant at the same company.

Before joining 4C Strategies, Ben held multiple roles at the London Fire Brigade. Ben served as a Programme Manager and Deputy Exercise Director for Exercise Unified Response, managing a core project team and overseeing various workstreams. Ben also worked as the Deputy Head of Emergency Planning and the London Local Authority Coordination Centre Manager, where they coordinated the response to major incidents and emergencies. In addition, Ben was an Emergency Planning Officer, Readiness Manager for the 2012 Olympics, Olympic Lead Officer, and Gold Office Manager.

Ben also worked at the GLA as an Emergency Planning Secondee, representing the views of the London Fire Brigade and London Local Authorities. Ben led training and exercising efforts for the London Resilience Team and was appointed Chair of the London Resilience Training and Exercising Group.

Furthermore, Ben served as a Deputy Programme Manager at the Local Government Association, where they supported local authorities in England and Wales in planning for the resilience impact of hosting the 2012 Olympics. Ben developed guidance, training packages, and exercises to disseminate to local authorities.

Ben White's education history includes obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Risk, Crisis, and Disaster Management from the University of Leicester. This degree was completed from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Ben earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Development and Health in Disaster Management from Coventry University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2004.
