Adrian KÅ‚apyta has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Adrian began their career in 2007 as a Medical Representative for Wound Care at 3M. In 2010, they moved to St. Jude Medical as a Country Medical Representative for Cardiac Surgery. In 2015, they joined Abbott as a Therapy Specialist Structural Heart North Central Europe & Russia, and was later promoted to EMEA Training Manager TMVR Tendyne and Senior Therapy Specialist Structural Heart North Central Europe & Russia. In 2021, they moved to Boston Scientific as Global Manager Therapy Development Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies, where they conducted a feasibility study of the Millipede transcatheter annuloplasty ring and provided global support and coordination until January 2022. Adrian is currently employed as Therapy Development Director at 4C Medical Technologies, Inc.
Adrian KÅ‚apyta has an extensive education history. Adrian obtained a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medicine (Paramedic, PMD) from the Medical University of Silesia between 2002 and 2005. Adrian then completed a Master of Public Health - MPH from the same institution between 2005 and 2007. In 2008 and 2009, they completed a Postgraduate course in Marketing & Public Relations at the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach. From 2019 to 2021, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Medical University of Lublin. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA in Healthcare from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Adrian also has additional certifications, including a Cardiac Surgery Advanced Certification (scientific programme endorsed by European Heart Rhythm Association) obtained from the Advanced Learning Center St. Jude Medcial in 2010 and a Decision Making in Emergency Medicine certification obtained from the Institute of Emergency Medicine in 2005.
