Ryan Peters has been working in the software engineering field since 2015. Ryan began as a Student Coordinator of International Film Series at Purdue University Northwest in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Automation Engineer Intern at NLMK USA, where they developed a dynamic, team-focused logbook system using C#, ASP.NET MVC, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap, Oracle Database, and other technologies. In 2017, they worked as a Full-Stack Web Developer Intern at Litmus Automation, where they designed, implemented, and lead team development of a modern single-page application from the ground-up using Angular and RxJS to consolidate and expose data from multiple company APIs. In 2018, they worked as a Scala Developer at Rewards Network and a Java Developer at Configure One, where they designed a web server configuration generator application using functional programming techniques to simplify deployments, lead an initiative to convert application stack from Windows to Linux using Docker/Kubernetes, and promoted functional programming principles and embraced messaging technologies to increase application scalability and decouple legacy code. Currently, they are working as a Senior Scala Software Engineer at 47 Degrees.

Ryan Peters graduated from Purdue University Northwest in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Ryan attended the university from 2013 to 2017.
