Gil Shiff has extensive work experience in the tech industry, with a focus on fintech and digital advertising. Gil is currently the Co-Founder and COO of 40seas, a fintech startup that utilizes AI and data-driven technology to provide efficient and cost-effective financing options for SMEs involved in cross-border trade. Prior to this, Gil worked at Taboola as a Video specialist from 2016 to 2019. Before joining Taboola, they founded ConvertMedia, a company that was later acquired by Taboola, where they served as the Founder and CSO. Gil also has experience in the public sector, having worked as a Senior Economic Advisor in the Prime Minister's Office, where they played a significant role in shaping Israel's socio-economic agenda. Gil began their career as a Software Consultant at TMT - Tailor Made TV and later served as a Software Consultant and Team Leader in the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200. Lastly, Gil obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Tel Aviv University from 2008 to 2010.
