David Orticelli has extensive experience in tax management and advisory roles. David started their career at Deloitte Tax LLP as a Senior Tax Manager from 2005 to 2008. David then worked at Rockit Solutions LLC as a Tax Director from 2008 to 2012. From 2013 to 2019, they served as the VP of Tax at General Atlantic. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Tax at Standard Investments, where they have been since April 2019.

David Orticelli has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Fairfield University, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. David then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Law from Quinnipiac University between 1986 and 1990. Following that, they achieved a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law from 1994 to 1997. David Orticelli is also a Licensed Attorney in NY & CT, which they obtained in 1991, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in NY & CT, which they obtained in 1987.
