Mike Edkins has extensive experience in control systems engineering, currently serving as Control Systems Manager at 3P Innovation Limited since November 2007, focusing on the design and development of control systems for bespoke machinery in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Previously, Mike worked as Chief Control Systems Engineer at Molins PLC from October 1988 to September 1997 and served as a lecturer at UMIST from January 1981 to August 1988, where courses covered microprocessors, robotics, and control theory. Mike holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from UMIST, where studies took place from 1970 to 1976.
