Kate Shoemaker is an experienced professional in the fields of renewable energy, sustainability, and climate management. Currently serving as an Associate Account Executive at 3Degrees Group, Inc., Kate's prior roles include Carbon Data Account Manager at VitalMetrics and Sustainability & Marketing Manager at Sun & Swell Foods. Kate has also worked at UC Santa Barbara as an Energy Analyst, where responsibilities included energy tracking and greenhouse gas inventories. Additional experience includes positions as a Sustainability & Marketing Strategist at Nada and Sustainability Coordinator for Surfrider Foundation San Diego County, where Kate successfully expanded beach cleanup programs. Early career experiences include leadership as the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Team Captain, a Sustainability Intern at Wild Local Seafood Co., and data collection focused on marine ecosystems in Southeast Asia. Kate holds a Master's degree in Corporate Environmental Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UC Santa Barbara.
