Ty McHerron has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at the Rochester District Golf Association in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at 3d Lacrosse as a coach and also as a summer intern in 2022. In 2020, Ty worked as a work-study student at St. John Fisher College and as a warehouse employee at ReBath & Kitchens. Additionally, they were involved in the Intramural Basketball League at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Senior High School in early 2020.

Ty McHerron attended St. John Fisher University from 2020 to 2024, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.
