Steve Salazar

Steve Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles. Steve began their career as a Commander in the military, serving in positions such as Commander of the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry and Commander of the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. Steve later transitioned into roles focused on training and education, serving as the Deputy Commander of Division West, 1st U.S. Army and Commander of the National Training Center's Operations Group.

After their military career, Salazar held leadership positions in organizations such as MNSTC-I, where they managed critical equipment purchases and construction projects for the Iraqi Army, and JS J7, where they led the reengineering of Joint Development for the Department of Defense. Steve also worked at DynCorp International as the VP of Global Strategic Initiatives, where they led business development efforts in the Middle East and North Africa.

Additionally, Salazar served as the Commanding General of the Joint Multinational Training Command, overseeing training and education for U.S. Troops and NATO teams across Europe. Steve also founded and served as President of STV Solutions, LLC, as well as 360 Military-Veterans Partnership: Making the Strong, Stronger!, an organization that promotes skills development for military personnel and veterans.

Throughout their career, Salazar has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.

Steve Salazar received their Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in the years 1978 to 1982. In 1993, they briefly attended the Australian CSC for Management studies. Later, in 2001 to 2002, they earned a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
