Yuri Burka has a long and varied work experience. Yuri began their career in 1998 as the Director of International Business Development at MSC Software, where they were responsible for channel sales and business development in the EMEA and Latin America regions. In 2003, they founded Deia Consulting International, a software sales consulting firm specializing in providing services and solutions to software companies looking to expand their sales and operations in Europe and Latin America. In 2004, they became an Investment Partner at Aertia Software, a European software distribution company located in Barcelona, Spain. In 2007, they took on a role as an Estate Agent at First Mallorca. In 2009, they became a Senior Account Executive at Salesforce.com in Spain. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Attributor Inc. and Digimarc Guardian, where they held positions such as VP Global Business Development and Director Corporate & Business Development - EMEA. During this time, they were responsible for all global sales teams and business development activities, as well as providing anti-piracy solutions for all publishing industries. In 2016, they began working at 33Across Inc., where they held titles such as Global EVP / Managing Director, EMEA and VP European Publisher Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for building and executing the publisher acquisition strategy in the EMEA for 33Across's RevCTRL Publisher Monetization platform.
Yuri Burka attended The Haverford School prior to 1989. Yuri then attended University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a BA in International Business and Marketing. Yuri later attended Golden Gate University and earned an MBA in International Business.
