Raphael Saphra has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Raphael started their career as a Production Assistant Intern at I.C.Y Media in 2018, gaining skills in video and photography editing, as well as customer service and negotiation. Raphael then transitioned to the role of Esports Promoter/Commentator at Encore Esports, organizing events and providing commentary on Twitch.tv for public streams. In 2020, Raphael joined TuneReel as a Data Scientist, where they wrote programs to modify and automate music licensing database infrastructure and extracted meaningful data from audio files. Later that year, they joined Infosys as a Data Analyst, writing SQL queries to facilitate data migration for clients such as UBS, EY, and Caterpillar Inc. Raphael also managed data pipeline migrations in an Agile environment. In 2022, Raphael worked as a Data Engineer at Benefitfocus and is currently working in the same role at Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds.

Raphael Saphra attended the Flatiron School in 2019, where they completed a bootcamp in Data Science. Prior to this, they studied at New York University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. Their major was Music Theory and Composition, with a minor in Computer Science and Math.
