Cynthia Scott-Johnson has a long history of work experience. Cynthia began their career in 1979 with the US Air Force as a Public Affairs Officer. During their three-year mobilization in the Pentagon, they coordinated satellite TV interviews for key Pentagon officials and advanced national and international media events for the Secretary of Defense. In coordination with the White House Office of Communication, they launched a comprehensive Spanish language media outreach program. In 2006, they became the CEO of 3 Roads Communications, where they provided clients with Strategic Communication counsel to deliver a compelling message to regional, national, and international audiences. In 2021, they became the owner of Gaslight Art Gallery.
Cynthia Scott-Johnson attended Emerson College from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a BA in Mass Communication. In 2003, they attended Air War College. In 2019, they earned an MFA in Visual Art from Lesley University.
