Aura Mackenzie possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, holding several senior leadership roles focused on corporate and commercial strategy. As Vice President of Corporate and Commercial Strategy at 2seventy bio, Aura has built upon prior positions as Senior Director in both Corporate and Commercial Strategy, as well as Oncology Commercial and Program Strategy. Previous to this, Aura served as Senior Director of Commercial and Program Strategy and Senior Director of Market Access at bluebird bio. Other notable roles include Vice President at PRECISIONxtract and Senior Principal at both PRECISIONvalue and ICON plc. Academically, Aura holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from The University of British Columbia and furthered studies at King's College London from 2004 to 2006.
