Ashleigh Ruiterman has a diverse work experience history. Ashleigh started their career at Starbucks as a Barista in 2013. Ashleigh then moved on to work at Skinny, where they held various roles including Customer Service Representative, Escalation Manager, and Quality Coordinator from 2014 to 2019. After that, they worked at Spark New Zealand as a Digital Team Leader in 2019. In 2020, they joined My Food Bag as a Customer Love Team Leader. Currently, they are working at 2degrees, where they started as a Team Manager in 2021 and is currently the Learning Delivery Team Lead.

Ashleigh Ruiterman received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Auckland in 2016. Ashleigh then pursued an Honours in Criminology at the same university in the same year.
