Ted Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ted is currently working as a Product Manager at 2bPrecise, starting in 2023. Previously, they worked at vRad (Virtual Radiologic) from 2017 to 2023 as a Product Manager - Clinical Applications. In this role, they engaged with end users to assess needs, identified workflows for improvement, and collaborated with software engineers to design solutions.

Before vRad, Ted worked at Candescent Health as the Director of Solutions Architecture from 2016 to 2017. Ted was responsible for enabling standards-based radiology across health systems by combining technology, knowledge, and services. Prior to that, Ted worked at dbMotion from 2012 to 2016 as a Senior Integration Engineer, actively participating in the implementation of data integration in customer Health Information Exchange projects.

Ted also held positions at Virtual Radiologic, starting as an HL7 Interface Analyst from 2006 to 2009, creating and supporting interfaces for radiology report distribution. Later, they became the Integration Engineering Manager from 2009 to 2012, managing a team and leading implementations of cloud-based RIS/PACS systems. Ted began their career at Intron Corporation as an Installation/Service Manager from 2003 to 2006, installing and supporting teleradiology web servers and PACS.

Additionally, Ted has teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri from 2001 to 2003, where they taught College Algebra and provided one-on-one tutoring.

Ted Walker earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Missouri Southern State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, Walker obtained two certifications from HL7: Certified HL7 V2.5 Control Specialist in March 2008 and Certified HL7 CDA Specialist in September 2014.
