Alan Shaw is an experienced professional in the mining and mineral processing industry, currently serving as the Manager of Processing & Maintenance at 29Metals since February 2022. Prior to this role, Alan held various positions at Ausenco as Processing Superintendent and at Sedgman Pty Limited as Transition Superintendent. Alan's career at BHP spanned a decade, where roles included Principal Improvement, Superintendent of Analysis & Improvement, Production Superintendent, and Senior Metallurgist. Alan began the professional journey at Anglo American, advancing from Plant Metallurgist to Technical Metallurgist and Senior Metallurgist. Alan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Leeds, completed in 2001.
