Grace Nugent is an accomplished journalist currently serving as the Baseball Beat Reporter for Inside Carolina since January 2024. With experience as a Writer and Utility Intern for the Cape Cod Baseball League in the summer of 2024, Grace contributed to various baseball story formats and managed social media engagement. Grace held the position of Senior Writer at The Daily Tar Heel and played a pivotal role as Philanthropy Director for Tri Delta, where efforts resulted in raising a record $90,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Prior experience includes being Editor in Chief at The Shield McCallum High School and serving as a Sideline Reporter for 104.9 The Horn, covering major sporting events. Grace is pursuing studies at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, expected to graduate in 2026.
