Patton Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative and advertising industry. Patton is currently working as an Associate Creative Director at 22squared, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Creative Director at Big Communications from June 2019 to October 2021.

Previously, Patton held the position of Senior Copywriter & Creative Lead at Lewis Communications from July 2016 to June 2019. Patton was responsible for leading junior talent and conceptualizing high-concept campaign work.

Before their role at Lewis Communications, they worked as a Sr. Copywriter at Moxie from May 2013 to July 2016. Patton also had a stint as a Copywriter - Contract at Ogilvy & Mather from January 2013 to May 2013.

Patton's career also includes experience as a Stand-up Comedian at Comedy from January 2008 to June 2013 and as a Copywriter at Lewis Communications from April 2007 to May 2008. Patton was also a part of the nationally prestigious "Comedy Juice" shows as a Nationally Touring Comedian from January 2010 to December 2012.

In addition, Patton has worked as a Copywriter at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide from April 2010 to March 2012, where they worked with clients such as Unilever and the United States Marine Corps. Patton also had freelance copywriting experience from May 2008 to July 2010.

Patton Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Advertising from the University of Alabama in 1999-2003. They later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Advertising from the same university in 2004-2005.
