Eric Stone has worked in the field of consulting, engineering, and the US Navy since 2008. Eric began their career as a Naval Flight Officer with VFA-2 in 2008 and then served as a Student Test Naval Flight Officer with USNTPS. Stone then held the roles of Developmental Test Project Officer and Assistant Operations Officer with VX-23, and Developmental Test and Evaluation Project Officer with VX-31. In 2015, they joined Ausley Associates, Inc. as a Flight Test WSO (Aircrew) and Flight Test Engineer. Stone is currently a Senior Analyst at 2 Circle Consulting, Inc., a position they have held since 2022.

Eric Stone attended the Naval Postgraduate School from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Science in Engineering Science with a focus in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the California State University Maritime Academy from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
