Kelly Wallick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the indie game industry and project management. Currently, Kelly serves as a Partner and Community Builder at 1Up Ventures, while also holding a board member position at Lightforge Games. As the CEO and Founder of Indie MEGABOOTH, founded in 2011, Kelly established a globally curated community for indie game studios that enhanced industry engagement and scholarship opportunities. Kelly’s leadership at the Independent Games Festival from 2015 to 2022 marked a significant tenure as the longest-serving Chair and the first woman to hold the position. Previous roles include project management at Infrared5 and scientific research positions at Xyleco, MIT, and NanoHorizons. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Penn State University.
