Nayo Carter-Gray, EA MBA, is an experienced accounting professional with over 20 years in the field. Currently serving as CEO of 1st Step Accounting since December 2010, Nayo has a proven track record of delivering personalized service with a blend of small-firm attentiveness and large-firm professionalism. Nayo founded Taking Your Firm Virtual in June 2020 and previously owned Slumber Parties by Nayo from November 2004 to December 2011. Nayo has held various positions, including Accounting Manager at Advanced Radiology, Accounting Supervisor at University Physicians, Inc., and has a solid foundation in accounting from earlier roles such as Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant. Nayo began a career in accounting after earning a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Accounting from Coppin State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
