Tim Ott is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering, infrastructure management, and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of IT Infrastructure and IT Applications at 1st Franklin Financial Corporation since September 2020, Tim has also provided consultancy services at Synaptic Node Networks since February 2020. Prior roles include Director of IT Operations and IT Manager at Southern Management Corporation, Mortgage Loan Originator at Mortgage Options, Inc., and Network Engineer at multiple firms including EDTS, LLC and Piedmont Municipal Power Agency. Tim's career began as a Network Engineer at J.M. Smith Corporation, where foundational skills in designing high-traffic networks were developed. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Clemson University.
