Dominic Marchand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and research leadership, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at 1QBit since January 2014. Dominic has held several key roles at 1QBit, including Director of Special Projects, Director of Sherbrooke, Head of Research and Partnerships, Customer Solutions Lead, Lead Scientist, and Senior Researcher. In February 2024, Dominic founded Irréversible Inc. and serves as Board Director. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computational and Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and a Master's Degree in Physics from The University of British Columbia, alongside foundational degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering from Université Laval and other institutions.
