Merritt Richmond currently serves as the President and Secretary of the Board of Directors for SCRAP since June 2021 and holds board member positions at Juma Ventures, 18 Reasons, and The Cemala Foundation, Inc. since August 2021, September 2021, and June 1998, respectively. Richmond previously worked as the Director of Development at Enterprise for Youth until May 2023, and as an Educational Consultant from August 2016 to July 2022. Richmond's earlier experience includes teaching at Children's Day School and serving as a K-3 Content Advisor at the Center for Childhood Creativity from 2012 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Education from Duke University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Mills College.
