Alex Baker is an accomplished attorney currently serving as Chief Deputy District Attorney at the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office since April 2022, having also held the position of Senior Deputy District Attorney leading the Financial Crimes Unit at the same office since September 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General's Office and as a Senior Deputy District Attorney at the Adams County District Attorney from October 2011 to April 2019. Alex Baker contributed to legal education as an Affiliate Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver between January 2017 and January 2018 and gained initial experience as a Law Clerk at The Governor's Office of Legal Counsel. This educational background includes earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Gonzaga University.
