Akbar Khan has extensive experience in IT and systems administration, currently serving as the Assistant Director at 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds since April 2012. Prior roles at 1199SEIU include Manager of IT and Senior Systems Engineer. From May 2000 to April 2012, Akbar was employed at NYCHPD as a Systems Administrator, where expertise was developed as a Senior Windows Engineer, Exchange Administrator, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
