Karen Bunting is a seasoned professional in R&D operations and scientific research with extensive experience in genomics and molecular biology. Currently serving as Senior Director of R&D Operations at 10x Genomics since March 2022, Karen previously held roles at the New York Genome Center, where the positions included Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff to the President and COO. Prior to that, experience includes a research associate position at Weill Cornell Medicine focusing on gene expression in hematology and post-doctoral research on T cell gene transcription at The Australian National University. Karen holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Science with honors from The University of Adelaide.
